Bindewald receives archdiocesan award

Psychology professor's research relates food to moral identities

Kendall J. Eskine, Ph.D., assistant professor of psychology at Loyola University New Orleans, recently had his manuscript, "Wholesome Foods and Wholesome Morals? Organic Foods Reduce Pro-social Behavior and Harshen Moral Judgments," accepted for publication by Social Psychological and Personality Science, a peer-reviewed journal in social and personality psychology.

Library research competition yields studious winners

The inaugural 2011-2012 Monroe Library Student Research Competition shined a light on budding scholars at Loyola University New Orleans recently. The competition recognizes and rewards students who make exemplary use of the collections, resources and services of the J. Edgar and Louise S. Monroe Library throughout the research process in order to produce an academic or creative work.

Business professor accepts world-class fellowship, professorship

International academic accolades are nothing new to Loyola University New Orleans College of Business professor Lee J. Yao, Ph.D. The Joseph A. Butt, S.J. Distinguished Professor in Accounting and Marquette Faculty Fellow is considered one of the preeminent researchers in his field and has recently accepted an honorary professorship at his alma mater of Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia, as well as a visiting fellowship at the prestigious Wolfson College at the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, U.K.
