Gaining success in the game inspired by the “Harry Potter” books sweeping college campuses across the country, the Loyola University New Orleans Quidditch team emerged as finalists in Division 2 of the International Quidditch Association’s World Cup VI held this year in Kissimmee, Fla.

Luis Miron joins national discussion on Catholic education

Loyola University New Orleans College of Social Sciences Dean Luis Mirón, Ph.D., joined a group of deans from 19 major Catholic universities to call for a greater role in supporting and sustaining a seamless Catholic education from K-12 to higher education. The group converged at a historic meeting hosted by St. John’s University in June in New York City.
